Wait - another political scandal? How Liz Truss’ in-tray just got bigger

Over the last week or so, the death of the Queen has provided the Conservatives with no greater opportunity to bury bad political news. 

On Sunday and Monday in particular, while the majority of the media was focussed on events surrounding the funeral of Her Majesty, elsewhere was focussing on the latest scandal to drop on the steps of Downing St.
