I think one of the more telling things about Boris Johnson's interview with Sophie Raworth on the BBC is the indication that he'd further debase himself by hiding behind a veil of humanitarianism to save his own skin.

We saw his approach towards geopolitics and internationalism with the recent events in Afghanistan. 

An unmitigated disaster by all accounts; a case study in what not to do as well as what holidays to Crete and Somerset respectively one should avoid - and so to believe he actually cares about Ukraine is a nonsequitur.
