Another one bites the Truss-t: In British politics in 2022, lettuces outlast Prime Ministers

Despite her smile at the lectern outside 10 Downing St, there are various anecdotal accounts I’ve seen and heard that suggest the soon-to-be former Prime Minister Liz Truss was left rather depressed by all of these events that have been happening around her over the last few weeks leading up to her resignation.

Some people might take the attitude that it’s something to be laughed at, or even mocked, whereas on the other side of the argument you likely have those who sympathise, or even those caught somewhere in between [like myself] that weigh the situation based on substance and have no sympathy though equally take no delight in what they see.

These last 3 months have been a total waste of time; the process, a mockery, and Conservatism over the last 12 years, a complete joke. A sick joke.
