Not even a remotely corrupt country? Pfft, not half: When the MSM plays catch-up with the Gonzo heroes of Journalism
A recent clip I keep replaying in my head is the speech Boris Johnson gave several months ago at COP26 where he had to justify - or he was convinced, at least, that:
"The United Kingdom is not a remotely corrupt country."
"I genuinely believe that the UK is not remotely a corrupt country"
Boris Johnson says "you've got cases where sadly MPs have broken the rules in the past, maybe guilty of breaking the rules today, what I want to see is them facing appropriate sanctions"

There’s a problem with what Boris Johnson is saying here.
It’s probably not true, and the more we investigate [albeit on a tight budget for the benefit of less than 40 paying subscribers] - particularly where Russian money and the Conservative Party is concerned - we find out that the United Kingdom is probably a very corrupt country, indeed.
