'All About Me!' Raab's political obituary reveals a man whose incompetence is only surpassed by his arrogance
Dominic Raab is one of the few MPs I’ve encountered in my writing who has the capacity to take me on a rapid journey from zen-like calm to mild mannered rage in about 3 seconds as a result of his vanity and arrogance, which far surpasses his absurdity and incompetence.
That isn’t hyperbole, either - it’s easy to discuss Raab’s incompetence because he genuinely is incompetent. The same can be said about his arrogance, too.
Despite being elected for the hotly contested North Surrey seat of Esher & Walton on four separate occasions since 2010, Raab holds the notable distinction of having occupied ministerial positions in the government’s Brexit department, the Housing department, the Justice Department, and the Foreign Office, and achieving the grand total of ‘nothing’ in all of them.
