You’d think that following the tragic death of Her Majesty, the clocks had stopped and the world had stopped turning.
The realisation for me that it hadn’t stopped came when I stared at my pre-pay meter and noticed that even though the Queen had died - tragic and sad as it was - the numbers appeared to be going down a lot faster than they did last year irrespective of whatever grand and confusing scheme the government announces that ultimately ‘doesn’t go far enough’.
