Who needs priorities when we can have 'protections'? Rishiman to the Rescue!
The corruption of Conservative Party Chairman Greg Hands is one of the smaller political stories in recent months that I’ve been following with interest.
An allegedly intelligent and cultured man that apparently speaks 5 languages, moderate, one of the more centrist, Remain-voting, One Nation types within the Conservatives who initially supported Jeremy Hunt during the leadership campaign in 2019 - Hands was elevated to the position of Tory Party Chair following the departure of tax rogue Nadhim Zahawi and has since regressed into goblin mode; feverishly, repetitively, incessantly posting decades-old Treasury jokes on Twitter, and getting basically everything wrong since.
In May, for example, when the Conservatives saw a loss of over 1,000 councillors, Hands said the Conservatives “expected” the loss. They didn’t - it was the worst possible outcome, one for which Hands actually, at one point, blamed Vladimir Putin.
